Harare is in for a treat tomorrow night with the French juggling duo DeFracto Arts Company set to perform at Reps Theatre.
The group, who are being hosted by Alliance Française, will stage a show entitled Circuits Fermés, written and interpreted by the artists Minh Tam Kaplan and Guillaume Martinet.
Alliance Francaise says: “Their act is about a relationship of co-dependence and it offers a glimpse of those moments in life shared by two characters and enables the viewer to enter into the intimacy of their relationship.”
With ‘playing’ a fundamental input of DeFracto’s creative process, the show will be fun for both children and adults. It is an amusing exhibition of juggling that should be enjoyable for the whole family.
Circuits Fermés premiered in October 2011 at La Cascade, Bourg St Andeol (France) and has since toured different world cities. Reps Theatre will be their second show Zimbabwe as they are performing in Bulawayo tomorrow.
DeFracto is a performing arts company with an ambition to develop a language using juggling and the body. The troupe currently has two projects: a solo Cinetuque TOC, and a duet, Circuits Fermés.
Circuits Fermés starts at 7pm on Saturday 2 November. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children.
