Week 8 of the Zimbabwe Cook Off took place on Saturday, with the final four competing for the certainty that they will not be eliminated in the next round in an immunity challenge.
Each contestant was tasked with cooking their own signature dish. And they certainly seemed confident with the challenge. Nicholas Fourie prepared green tea crusted salmon with an orange and fennel salad. He put this up against Devine Rwambirwa’s beef and country-side sausage roll served with tomato foundee – which is essentially the shell of half a tomato filled with a tomato pulp puree, bread crumbs for texture, onion and seasoning – and sweetened onion puree. The two other dishes came from Amy McLeod – who won the last immunity challenge – and Brenda Hewitt-Voue.
The judges enjoyed tasting these four dishes, and it was a tough decision to choose the winner of the challenge. After much deliberation, they decided that Nick’s dish was more deserving of a victory, which gave him immunity for next week.
With no eliminations this week, Week 9 will still have four contestants. With Nick’s immunity, however, only three of whom will be worried about being knocked out.
Next week’s edition will be held at Highlands Park, with a 10:30am expected start.
all the time i used to read smaller posts that also
clear their motive, and that is also happening with this post which I am reading at
this place.
Hi it’s me, I am also visiting this web page on a regular basis, this web page is actually
nice and the users are genuinely sharing pleasant thoughts.
obviously like your website however you have to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very bothersome to tell the reality on the other hand I?¦ll definitely come again again.
