At a colourful ceremony held outside the Jubilee Hall at Hartmann House on Saturday 28 September, the National Institute of Allied Arts presented prizes to the winners in both the 2013 Literary and Visual Arts Festivals.
This year, the Institute awarded two floating trophies in the Literary Festival for best junior and best senior writer respectively.

The Institute also awarded two floating trophies in the Visual Arts Festival for best junior and best senior artists.
These were presented to William Tucker, a Grade 7 student at St John’s Prep School for the junior section, and David de Jong of St John’s College in the senior section.
Dr David Morgan of Innscor Africa Ltd presented the prizes and trophies to the Visual Arts Festival winners and Mr Richard Wilde of CBZ Bank Ltd did the same for the Literary Festival.
