Are you part of the Asian community in Zimbabwe? Do you have a box of photos, memoirs or letters gathering dust on your shelf? To celebrate over 100 years of life in Zimbabwe, Headmaster Mr Chouhan is asking you to bring them on down to his school Westridge High School in Ridgeview. There, he and his school’s history department will be putting them into an exhibition that will be on display in the school hall, which they hope to open to the public in August.
“We want to help develop the archive as a record for future generations,” explains Mr Chouhan. “For the older generation, the exhibition will take them down memory lane and for the youth, they will get an insight into what it was like in Zimbabwe in the early days.”
